This 520 conversion kit contains sprockets and chain that are narrower than the stock parts. This 520 kit can shave 1 to 2 pounds of weight off the drive-train. This reduction of un-sprung weight will provide better acceleration, braking and suspension feel. No modifications are required to install this kit.
Born from MotoGP technology, the Superlite RS7 rear sprocket has a tooth profile designed for better chain contact and longevity. The unique spoke design gives these sprockets superior strength and the recessed face provides maximum weight savings. The RS7 sprocket weighs only slightly more than an aluminum sprocket, but will last 2-3 times longer! The Superlite brand front sprockets are made of tough chromoly-steel and are cross drilled for weight reduction.
